Guzman's Walk-Off Grand Slam Advances Indians to Championship

Max Guzman led CHIPOLA Indians to victory a 11-0 victory in five innings over San Jacinto in tonight's game. He drove in six runs and went 2-for-4 at the plate. Guzman drove in runs on a double in the third and a grand slam in the fifth to end the game.

Phillip Sanderson had all the right stuff on Friday for CHIPOLA Indians, allowing zero runs.

A double by Goodheart in the first inning was a positive for San Jacinto.

Sanderson earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for CHIPOLA Indians. He allowed four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking zero.

Roedahl led things off on the mound for San Jacinto. He allowed five hits and five runs over two and a third innings, striking out one and walking one. DillardRoberts, and Morgan each contributed in relief for San Jacinto.

CHIPOLA Indians smacked two home runs on the day. Guzman had a four bagger in the fifth inning. Alex Webb went yard in the fourth inning.

CHIPOLA Indians racked up ten hits. GuzmanJulio Carrion, and David Meadows all managed multiple hits for CHIPOLA IndiansMeadowsCarrion, and Guzman each collected two hits to lead CHIPOLA Indians.

Chipola advances to face Walters State in the championship game tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. MST/8:00 p.m. CST.
