MARIANNA, Fla. – Chipola Basketball is back home at The Milt tonight with the Lady Indians set to take on Pensacola State at 5:30 followed by the Chipola men and the Pirates at 7:30. Admission is $5 at the door and both games will be broadcast on the Chipola College YouTube page.

The Lady Indians have won their last two games to even their conference record at 2-2. Chipola, Pensacola, and Gulf Coast are all tied for second place in the conference, two games behind league-leading Northwest Florida.

The men will be looking to rebound following their first loss of the season at Tallahassee last Saturday. The Indians are a game behind the first place Eagles at 3-1 in conference play. Pensacola comes in to tonight's game winless in conference play.

Also, in Panhandle action tonight, Northwest Florida and Tallahassee begin their second round of the conference season in Tallahassee. The women's game between the #4 Raiders and the Eagles is at 4:30 followed by the men's game between the Raiders and the #3 Eagles at 6:30.

  • Pensacola comes into tonight's contest having lost its last game. The Lady Pirates lost to Northwest Florida, 59-50, last Wednesday in Niceville.
  • Prior to Saturday's game, the Lady Indians had faced four consecutive Top 25 teams. After a reprieve from ranked competition in their last game, the Lady Indians will start another streak of three straight games against ranked opponents tonight with the #19 Lady Pirates.
