MARIANNA, Fla. – The two number one teams in NJCAA Division One will be at the Milt this afternoon when long-time rivals Chipola College and Gulf Coast State College clash. Admission is $5 at the door and both games will be broadcast on the Chipola College YouTube page.
Tip off for the women's game is at 2 PM with the men following at 4 PM.

The Lady Indians (6-9; 0-2 PC) will be looking to upset the #1 Lady Commodores (16-0; 1-0 PC) and the #1 Chipola Indians (20-0; 2-0 PC) will be trying to keep their undefeated season going against the men from Gulf Coast (12-6; 1-0 PC).
The women and men from Gulf Coast opened the Panhandle portion of their season with wins at home against Pensacola State last Saturday. The Lady Commodores defeated #16 Pensacola, 55-48, and the men escaped with a last second win over the Pirates, 71-70.
The Lady Indians have had the misfortune of starting Panhandle play with three of the top teams in the NJCAA. After opening the season with a 66-52 loss to #4 Northwest Florida last Saturday, Chipola lost to #16 Pensacola on the road Wednesday night, 59-53.
The #1 Indians have received the opponents' best shots in their first two games of league play. After surviving a late rally from #25 Northwest Florida at The Milt last Saturday night, 75-74, the Chipola men had to hold on again for a 64-61 road win at Pensacola this past Wednesday.
In other Panhandle action this afternoon, Tallahassee hosts Pensacola at 1 PM and 3 PM central time.
