The Chipola College Women's Cross Country team finished third in the recent Darton College Skyles Farm Run in Albany, Georgia.

In the women's 5K race, Natalya Miller of Wewahitchka was second overall in the field of 30 runners. Miller finished with a time of 20:45. She was 22nd overall in both of the team's two previous meet in Macon, Georgia and Pensacola. She holds the record time for the Chipola program with a 20:16.

Chipola's Donia Lanier of Wewahitchka finished 14th overall and improved on her last performance with a time of 23:10. Kimi Wiltse of Altha ran a 24:30. Other Chipola team members include Sharlyn Smith of Altha, Katheryn Huffman of Marianna, Lauren Pettis of Marianna and Karlee Floyd of Malone.

The Chipola team will travel to Troy University for a meet on Oct. 13.
