PREVIEW: #13 Lady Indians battle Bishop State at The Milt
Chipola won the first meeting between the two teams, 82-66
MARIANNA, Fla. - #13 Lady Indians put their undefeated record on the line when they host Bishop State Community College out of Mobile, Alabama. Chipola and the Bobcats will tip on Thursday at 6 PM in the Milton H. Johnson Center.

LAST TIME OUT
On Monday night, the Lady Indians defeated Central Georgia Tech for the second time this season; this time on their opponent's home floor. Chipola led by as many as 15 points in the game before taking the 77-67 road win.
Kanija Daniel led all scorers with 23 points without playing in the 4th quarter. Alindria Dudley returned to her home state and put up a career high 16 points. Mekhila Brown joined them in double digits with 12 points.
RANKINGS
The Lady Indians continue to creep up the rankings nationally thanks to their 9-0 record. Chipola jumped up three spots to #13 in the NJCAA D1 Rankings while holding on at #2 in the FCSAA Coaches' Poll.
Northwest Florida holds steady at #2 nationally and #1 in Florida. Gulf Coast comes in at #9 in the NJCAA and #3 in the FCSAA.
Eastern Florida State is 19th nationally and tied for 4th in the FSCAA with Pensacola. The Lady Pirates are receiving votes, along with Florida SouthWestern, but did not break the top 25.
All five Panhandle teams are in the FCSAA top ten with Tallahassee coming in the tenth slot.
KNOW YOUR OPPONENT
The Lady Wildcats enter Thursday's battle with Chipola with a 4-7 record. The two teams met in Mobile in the first game of the 2024-25 season for both schools with Chipola winning 82-66.
Bishop State has played a difficult schedule in the month of November with five of their opponents being ranked in this week's NJCAA top 25.
The Lady Wildcats average 61.3 points per game and are led offensively by sophomore guard Janiya Labyzon with 11.6 ppg. Teams are scoring 74.6 ppg against Bishop State.
