The #16 Lady Indians (17-4; 2-3) raced out to an early lead at the Bill Hebrock Eagledome on Wednesday night and easily put away the Tallahassee Lady Eagles, 86-43. Tallahassee fell to 3-17 overall and 0-5 in Panhandle Conference play.
Ten different players scored for the Chipola women. Shimei Muhammad led the way for the Lady Indians with 18 points. Shcira Fowles was right behind her as she used five 3-pointers en route to a 17 point output.
Joining Muhammad and Fowles in double-figures was Ashley Baez with with 12 points and Ta'Shonna Wright-Gaskins with 10.
The Lady Indians will be back at The Milt on Saturday night to take the #1 Northwest Florida Raiders at 5:30.
