After a thrilling win in last night's 71-68 buzzer beater in the second round of the NJCAA Women's Basketball Championship, the #3 seed Lady Indians will be looking to take the last spot in the Final Four. Standing in their way is the #11 seed Tyler Junior College (22-4). The two teams will square off tonight at 7 PM in the last game of the day at the RIP Griffin Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Know Your Opponent

• The Apaches finished eleventh in the final regular season NJCAA D1 Women's Rankings. The Apache ladies lost in the Region XIV Championship Game to Trinity Valley, the number two seed in this tournament and the opponent of tonight's winner in tomorrow's semifinal game.
• Tyler advanced to the quarterfinals with a 72-60 win in the first round over Walters State and a 72-53 win over #6 seed South Georgia Tech in the second round. This will be the third consecutive day of competion for the Apache ladies.
• TJC averages 82.5 points per game. For the season, the Apaches are shooting 44.6 from the floor including 35.5 from three-point range.
• The Apaches are led by freshman guard, Nadechka Laccen. Laccen averages 13.1 points per game and is shooting 44.2 percent from the floor. 
• Another freshman guard, Veonce Powell, has only started one game all season but is second on the team in scoring with 12.8 points per game.
