Lady Indians dominate Tallahassee, 96-47

On Tuesday night, #4 Chipola College (8-1, PC 5-1) took on Tallahassee Community College (1-7, PC 0-6) in a Panhandle Conference matchup. The Lady Indians showcased their talent on both sides of the ball, with a 96-47 win at The Milton H. Johnson Center. 

After matching each other in the first posessions of the game, Chipola would go on a 9-0 run and maintain a convincing lead the rest of the way.

In the first half, the Lady Indians scored 49 as De'Myla Brown lead all scorers with 18 points. Holding the Lady Eagles to only 8 points in each of the first two quarters, the Lady Indians ended the half up 49-16. 

In the second half, Coach Franklin's offense came together nicely as every member of the Lady Indians scored in the contest.

Isadora Sousa ended the game with 17 points, and season-highs in rebounds (10) and assists (12), notching her first career triple-double.  

De'Myla Brown finished the game with a season-high 33 points, leading all scorers on the night. 

Justina Graham contributed a career-high 15 points.  

Next up, the Lady Indians travel to face #1 Northwest Florida State on Saturday at 2 PM Central.
