The #3 Lady Indians (5-0) traveled to face conference opponent Tallahassee Community College (1-3) in Tuesday night's matchup. Leaning on their veterans, the Lady Indians took the lead early and did not look back as they matched their season average to pick up a crucial conference win on the road, 75-47.

Off to a great start, the Lady Indians showcased their defensive efforts and held a 14-5 lead after the first quarter. The sophomore guard duo of De'Myla Brown and Jordan McLaughlin combined for twelve of the team's first quarter points.

In the second quarter, another veteran stepped up to lead the Lady Indians as Ifunanya Nwachukwu would score 13 of her 17 points and help push the Lady Indians outfront by as many as 25. At the break, Chipola led Tallahassee 36-16.

After a slow start to the second half by both teams, Tallahassee kept the game close by matching the offensive pace of the Lady Indians. Chipola would outscore the Eagles 17-14 in the third and 22-17 in the fourth.

On the night, the Indians forced 17 turnovers that turned into 18 points and held the Eagles to just 25 percent from the floor.

Ifunanya Nwachukwa posted season-high numbers and her first double-double of the year, third of her Chipola career, finishing the game with 17 points and 16 rebounds. It was her highest scoring night since pouring in 23 at Tallahassee last season.

Three other Lady Indians finished the game in double figures. Isadora Sousa and De'Myla Brown both finished the night with 14 points. Jordan McLaughlin just missed consecutive games with a double-double as she posted 15 points and collected 8 rebounds.
