Opening Weekend for the Lady Indians
Chipola will play a pair of games on Friday and two more on Saturday to open 2025

MARIANNA, Fla. - After having to cancel their opening weekend trip to Texas due to snow and ice, the Lady Indians will look to beat the rain this weekend to get some games in. Chipola will open at 9 AM on Friday against Thomas University's JV team then take on Jones College from Mississippi at 11 AM. The Lady Indians will close out the weekend on Saturday with another pair of games. Chipola and Enterprise will get the day started at 10 AM then the Lady Indians will face Jones College again at 2 PM.
Chipola enters 2025 ranked 10th in the FCSAA. Three other Panhandle teams start the season in the top ten with Northwest Florida ranked second, Gulf Coast comes in at fifth, and Pensacola is one spot ahead of the Lady Indians at ninth. The Raiders and Lady Commodores are also included in the NJCAA D1 Softball Rankings at fourth and eleventh respectively. Indian River State, last year's National Champion, is ranked first in both the FCSAA and NJCAA.
