Lady Indians Win Big in Jacksonville
The Lady Indians won big in both games today at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
In game one, Chipola beat FSCJ 12-0 in five innings.
Brianna Bailey picked up the win, pitching all five innings. She allowed no hits and struck out 10.
At the plate, Ava Worthy was 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. Haley Sandridge was 0-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Haley Eubanks was 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Mikayla Lewin was 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Kayla Hurley was 2-for-3 with one run and three RBIs. Jaylin Kindles was 1-for-1 with one run and three RBIs. Natalie Kopicova was 1-for-3 with one run. Marissa Baxter was 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
The Lady Indians tallied 12 runs on 14 hits.
In game two, the Lady Indians won 10-2.
Ashlyn Donner pitched five innings. She allowed four hits and had five strikeouts. Sydni Garrett pitched two innings. She allowed one hit with two strikeouts.

The Lady Indians are back in action tomorrow, March 1, at Santa Fe College for a doubleheader at noon.
