LAST TIME OUT
Chipola won two of three games at the Pensacola State Thanksgiving Classic on November 23-25 to take their record to 8-2 on the season.
The Indians defeated Lamar State – Port Arthur, 86-72 on day one of the Classic. Markel Freeman led Chipola with 19 points. He was joined in double figures by Tony Baker (12), Justin Burns (11), & Matthew Webster (10). All twelve available players scored in the game.
On day two, Chipola took down previously unbeaten #4 Jones College, 74-66. Trent Lincoln had 15 followed by Matthew Webster with 14, and Tony Baker with 11.
On the final day of the Classic, the Indians fell to #3 Trinity Valley CC, coached by former Chipola head coach Greg Heiar, 71-59. The two teams were even with less than 14 minutes to play in the game but a 15-0 run by the Cardinals was too much for Chipola to overcome.

The Hawks are averaging 89.1 points per game while holding their opponents to 61.1 points per game which is good enough for 17th in NJCAA D1 Basketball. They are #1 in NJCAA D1 in causing opponents to turn the ball over and 2nd in the country in steals.
