The Indians have a shot at redemption. After falling in last season's NJCAA Tournament Final Four, Coach Donnie Tyndall's 2022 squad can put Chipola back in the NJCAA Championshp Game for the first time since 2007. Chipola will need to defeat the #1 seed Salt Lake Community College Bruins in order to play in Saturday night's 6 PM title game. 

The Indians advanced to their second consecutive Final Four by completely shutting down the high-scoring offense of Harcrum College. Chipola defeated the Bears, 70-49, a team that had average above 100 points in their two previous tournament games.

Salt Lake is looking to make their way back to the chamipionship game for the fourth time. The Bears won the title in 2009 and 2016. It hasn't been easy for the Bruins in their first two games of the tournament as both games have gone down to the wire. The Bruins defeated 16 seed, Moberly Area, 86-83, and held on to defeat 8 seed, Odessa College, 68-66.
