The Chipola men's basketball team will make their 17th appearance in the NJCAA Men's Basketball National Tournament when they take on Hutchinson Community College on Wednesday, March 16. Tip off between the #5 seed Indians and the 12th seed Blue Dragons is set for 2 PM in Hutchinson Sports Arena.
This is the third time the two teams have met with Chipola winning the first meeting, 71-66 in Marianna, back in 1962. The Blue Dragons defeated the Indians in the opening round of the 1988 NJCAA Tournament, 70-64. The Blue Dragons went on to win their first National Championship that year.
