Preview: Rematch of State Championship game for a spot in the Final Four

The #6 seed Indians will square off with Indian River State College in a rematch of the FCSAA Championship game from a little less than two weeks ago. Chipola defeated the Pioneers, 88-75, to claim the first State Championship and berth to the NJCAA Tournament since 2014.

The Indians advanced to the quarterfinals with a hard-fought 73-60 win over Shelton State Community College on Wednesday night. 

The Pioneers will be playing their third game in as many days. Indian River defeated #19 seed Dawson Community College in the first round on Tuesday, 85-75. On Wednesday, the Pioneers upset #3 seed, College of Southern Idaho, 94-82, to move on to the quarterfinals. FCSAA Player of the Year, Linton Brown, has led the way in the NJCAA Tournament for the Pioneers, averaging 25 points in the two games.
