Men's Basketball returns home to face Pensacola
The Indians will face the Pirates at 7:30 Saturday night at The Milt
Chipola men's basketball will hostPensacola State College on Satuday night at 7:30 PM at the Milton H. Johnson Center in the second game of Panhandle Conference play for both teams.
Pensacola (1-4) lost their opening conference game this past Wednesday night at home against Northwest Florida State College. The Pirates are led by sophomore forward Terry Durham averaging 12.8 points per game. The Pirates are shooting 46.1 % from the field.
The Indians will be looking to rebound after falling to 5-1 overall and 0-1 in conference play on Wednesday following a 68-65 loss on the road at Gulf Coast State College. The Indians are shooting 48.3% from the field and are led by sophomore guard Carlos Lemus. Lemus has two double-doubles on the season and is averagin 13.6 points a game.
The Indians will be looking to extend their home winning streak of eight games that dates back to the 2019-20 season.
