Men's basketball will open Panhandle Conference play tonight in Panama City against nationally ranked Gulf Coast State College. Tip-off will follow the women's basketball game between the same two schools at approximately 7:30 PM.

The Indians (5-1) are coming off an 80-56 win over Santa Fe College on Sunday.  Through non-conference play, the Indians are shooting 48% from the field and averaging 76.2 points/game.  Carlos Lemus leads the Indians averaging 13.5 points per game. 

The #9 Commodores (3-0) defeated Miami Dade in their last game by a score of 100-80. Gulf Coast is averaging just under 100 points per game and are led by Davonta Cook who averages 17.0 points per game.

Last season the Indians were 1-2 against the Commodores, winning on the last game of the regular season, 101-95.
