The #2 Chipola Indians (41-13-1) will look to stay alive in the 2022 FCSAA State Tournament on Friday when they take on the defending champion, Miami-Dade College Sharks (36-18-1) in an elimination game. First pitch between the teams is set for noon CDT from Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Florida.
The two teams faced one another earlier in the season at the Visit Panama City Beach NJCAA Baseball Classic with Chipola winning, 8-2.
Miami-Dade lost to Indian River State College, 9-1, on Thursday evening to fall into the loser's bracket.
