Indians opening season at Ed Davis Kickoff Classic in Auburndale

Head coach Jeff Johnson's 26th Chipola Baseball team will open the season at the Ed Davis JUCO Kickoff Classic in Auburndale on Friday, January 28.

The Indians will take on the Patriots from the College of Central Florida in a seven inning game at 11 AM CST and then face the Titans from Eastern Florida State in a nine inning game at 3 PM CST.

Arizona State University signee, Cedric De Grandpre, will be getting the start on the mound in the opening game. In game two, the Indians will send Dylan Eskew, a University of South Carolina signee, to the hill against the Titans.

The Indians will also be in action on Saturday against Indian River State College at noon cst in a nine inning game.
