Indians Get to 40 Wins, Beat GC 12-2

Chipola (40-8, 20-4) blew out Gulf Coast State 12-2 on Saturday.

Chipola scored five runs in the third inning. Chipola Indians's big inning was driven by a double by Reynaldo Rivera, a single by Brody Wofford, a single , and a single by Jose Caballero.

Evan Steele (2-0) earned the win for Chipola Indians. He threw four innings, allowing zero runs, one hit, striking out one, and walking zero.

Chipola had 11 hits in the game. Rivera, Wofford, and Jacob Silverstein each collected multiple hits for Chipola Indians. 

Rivera led Chipola Indians with three runs batted in. He went 3-for-4 on the day.
