Chipola Wins Game 2 10-3

Chipola (32-7, 13-3) prevailed 10-3 versus Gulf Coast in Game 2.

Chipola trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Andrew Bechtold singled off of Greg Loukinen, driving in two runs.

Chipola Indians evened things up at two in the bottom of the fourth inning. Brody Wofford singled on the first pitch of the at bat in the fourth inning, scoring one run.

Chipola scored four runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Jacob Silverstein, a single by Reynaldo Rivera, and a double.

Robbie Knox (4-0) earned the win. He pitched four innings of relief, surrendering one run, four hits, striking out six, and walking zero.

Negron started the game. He tossed two innings, surrendering two runs, three hits, striking out one, and walking zero.

Chipola collected 12 hits. Wofford, Rivera, Edmond Americaan, and Andrew Bechtold each collected multiple hits. Bechtold, Rivera, and Wofford each drove in two runs to lead the way.
