The Chipola Indians (6-1) beat Florence-Darlington 7-2 Friday morning behind the arm of Junior Harding and the bats of Max Guzman and Edmond Americaan.

Harding (1-0) collected his first win. He fired 5.1 innings of 1-hit ball. He walked three and struck out three. Roberto Negron threw 3.2 innings of relief. 

Guzman was 3-5 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs. Americaan reached base all five times. He was 3-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 walks.
