An exceptional effort by Landon Faulkner (6-1) led the Chipola Indians (39-14) to a 2-1 win over LSU Eunice on Friday at Chipola College.

LSU Eunice wasn't able to score a run off of Faulkner during his six innings on the hill. Faulkner allowed two hits, no walks and struck out eight.

Reese Cooley and Reynaldo Rivera provided the offense for Chipola. They both blasted solo home runs.
