Chipola Finishes Panhandle Play with 14-0 Win

The Chipola Indians (37-12, 16-4) beat Pensacola State 14-0 in seven innings on Saturday at Pensacola State after an 11-run explosion in the seventh inning. 

The Indians scored in the seventh on a three-run home run by Tyler Osik, a hit by pitch, a walk by Wood Myers, a passed ball, a hit by pitch, and a home run by Reynaldo Rivera

Chipola hit three home runs in the win. Additional home runs came when Michael Hickman homered in the sixth inning as well as Reynaldo Rivera who racked up four RBIs on two hits.

Landon Faulkner (5-1) got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He pitched six shutout innings. He struck out 10, walked one and surrendered four hits. 

Six hitters combined for eight hits, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
