Five-Run Third Pushes Indians Past Gordon State

Addison Reed got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over six innings. Addison Reed struck out five, walked three and gave up six hits.

Aubrey McCarthy was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.

The top of the second saw Gordon State take an early lead, 3-0. Gordon State's offense woke up as Jascanel Ferreras singled before Garrett Wilkinson doubled, scoring Ferreras. Gordon State added more runs when Wilkinson scored on a sacrifice fly by Jordan Howard and Craft scored on an RBI double by McCarthy.

The Indians didn't relinquish the lead after scoring five runs in the third inning when they scored on a groundout by Wood Myers and a two-run single by Reynaldo Rivera.

Michael Rojas went 1-2 with a home run.
