The #7 Lady Indians will start Panhandle Conference play this weekend against the four other teams in the conference. Each team will play two teams on Saturday and then the other two teams on Sunday at Frank Brown Park in Panama City.

Rankings

Four of the five conference teams are ranked in the latest NJCAA Top 20 Poll and all five teams are in the first seven of the FCSAA Top Ten Coaches' Poll.

• Chipola is the highest ranked team of the five coming in at #7 in the NJCAA poll and #2 in the FCSAA poll. The Lady Indians are 26-2 and currently on a ten-game win streak.
• The Lady Pirates of Pensacola State are 23-3 on the season and are ranked 12 in the NJCAA poll. PSC has won 12 of their last 13 games and ranked 3rd in the FCSAA Coaches' Poll.
• Gulf Coast comes into this weekend as the hottest team having won their last 12 games, including a DH sweep of Florida SouthWestern, the defending National Champions and current #1 team in Florida and nationally. Gulf Coast is ranked 4th in the FCSAA and 16th in the NJCAA.
• Northwest Florida has won 17 of their last 18 games to bring their overall record to 28-5. The Raiders are currently 17th in the NJCAA poll and 5th in the FCSAA poll.
• Tallahassee is the only team coming into the round robin with a loss in their last game. The Lady Eagles lost the second game of a doubleheader to ABAC on Tuesday to bring their overall record to 18-6. TCC is not ranked in the NJCAA poll but comes in at #7 in the state of Florida.
