Lady Indians open 2022 season in Texas

The Kelly Brookins era will get started in Brenham, Texas as the Lady Indians travel to Blinn College for a 1 PM doubleheader on Friday, January 28.

Brookins, a long time assistant for Belinda Hendrix, takes over the nationally recognized program after Hendrix was named the head coach at East Tennessee State University.

Following Friday's doubleheader, Chipola will move to Houston Texas to take on #8 San Jacinto College in a 2 PM doubleheader on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Lady Indians will travel to Port Arthur, Texas for an 11 AM doubleheader against Lamar State College.

The Lady Indians are ranked sixteenth in the NJCAA Preseason Poll and fifth in the FCSAA Preseason Coaches' Poll.
