Two Chipola College runners finished in the top 10 at the Darton College Mid-Season Farm Run, Sept. 27, in Albany, Ga.
Marty Wiedeman led Chipola for the second week with a third place overall finish and a time of 22:07. Veronica Taylor set a personal best time of 23:21, finishing 10 th overall. Melissa Newsome finished among the top 15 with a time of 24:36. Taylor Green improved her time with a 25:47.
The tri-meet was hosted by Darton with Georgia Southwestern and Chipola completing the field of teams.
Chipola's Victoria Taylor suffered an ankle injury and was unable to finish. She is expected to return for Chipola's Oct. 4 race at Point University in West Point, Georgia.
