Chipola's Wiedeman Finishes Top 10

The Chipola College Women's Cross Country team finished their first run of the 2014 season in Americus, GA.

In the women's 5K race, Margaret Wiedeman of Wakulla, FL finished in the top 10 overall in a field of over 40 runners. Wiedeman finished with a time of 22:09.

Chipola's Victoria Taylor of Dothan, AL finished 20^th overall with a time of 23:32. Her sister, Veronica Taylor finished 22^nd with a time of 23:40. Melissa Newsome of Blountstown, FL finished with an overall time of 24:17. Taylor Green of Sneads, FL finished with an overall time of 27:40.

The Chipola team will travel to Darton College for a meet on September 27.
