GAMEDAY PREVIEW: Lady Indians begin quest to repeat history
#1 Chipola takes on #17 Kilgore at 11 AM CDT in 2nd Round of NJCAA Tournament
CASPER, Wyoming - In 2015, the Lady Indians led by NJCAA & FCSAA Hall of Famer, Evelyn Akhator, brought home Chipola's only National Championship in the sport of basketball. The 2024-2025 hopes to repeat that accomplishment on the 10 year anniversary of that championship run.
The #1 seed Lady Indians will take on #17 Kilgore College out of Texas in the second-round of the NJCAA Tournament at 11:00 AM CDT in Casper, Wyoming. The Lady Rangers won their first-round game against #16 Walters State, 75-59, to face Chipola who received a first-round bye.
