PREVIEW: Lady Indians travel to Enterprise State on Monday night

ENTERPRISE, Ala. – The #13 Chipola women's basketball team will head to Enterprise, Alabama to take on the Lady Weevils of Enterprise State on Monday night. The Lady Indians and ESCC will tip at 5:30 PM at Lolley Gym.

LAST TIME OUT

The Lady Indians ran their record to 10-0 with an 86-60 win over Bishop State, a fellow member of the Alabama Community College Conference with Enterprise State.

After taking down the Lady Wildcats in both teams' first game of the season in Mobile, Alabama, Chipola swept the season series at the Milton H. Johnson Center last Thursday night.

Chipola won the home game without two of its leading scorers from the previous meeting, Kanija Daniel and Jailynn Brill. The two combined for 23 points in the season opener but it was Daniya McDonald and Aniyah Ruddock that would get the job done for the Lady Indians at The Milt.

McDonald led the Lady Indians with 17 and Ruddock was right behind her with 16. Ahmani Klabunde (11) and Trinity Carmouche (10) joined them in double digits.

KNOW YOUR OPPONENT

The Lady Weevils (3-10) began the season with 6 straight losses before picking up their first win of the season against Andrew College. ESCC has defeated Andrew twice along with Reid State to make up their three wins of the season.

Chipola will be the third consecutive opponent from the Panhandle Conference for the Lady Weevils. ESCC fell to Pensacola, 84-23, last Friday in Panama City before falling to Gulf Coast the next day on the Lady Commodores' home floor, 77-42.

The Lady Weevils average 44.0 points per game while allowing 65.0 points by the opponents.
