The Lady Indians defeated Pensacola State 73-58 in tonight's game.
Precious Cowan led the team with 17 points. Rachel Johnson had 15 points, Isadora Sousa had 13 points, and Caitlyn Wilson and Ariel Cummings both had nine points.
Coach Greg Franklin was happy with how his team played at times, but is still looking for his squad to put together a complete game.
"We played in spurts again and we need to put a complete game together if we want to win on Wednesday night," said Coach Franklin. "We're still looking for 40 minutes of clean basketball."
Chipola moves to 18-1 on the season. They'll return home to the Milt on Wednesday for a Top 5 matchup with the Gulf Coast State Lady Commodores. Tip is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CST. Tickets are $5 and available at the gate. Chipola students and Appreciation Club members receive free entry with the proper ID.
