Chipola swept ABAC in tonight’s doubleheader. 

In game one, the Lady Indians won 6-0. 

Brianna Bailey started the game on the mound, going four innings. She allowed zero hits and had eight strikeouts. Sydni Garrett pitched 2.1 innings, allowing one hit with one strikeout. Yana Islamova finished up the game for Chipola, allowing no hits with one strikeout. 

Haley Eubanks was 2-for-3 with two runs. Mikayla Lewin was 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Kayla Hurley was 1-for-3 with one run and three RBIs. Tammie Lijbers was 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Natalie Kopikova was 1-for-3 with one run. 

In game two, Chipola fought back to defeat ABAC 8-6.

Ashlyn Donner pitched five innings, allowing seven hits with four strikeouts. Marissa Baxter finished the game, allowing no hits with three strikeouts. 

Ava Worthy was 2-for-4 with one run. Haley Sandridge was 1-for-3 with two runs. Mikayla Lewin was 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBIs. Marissa Baxter was 1-for-2 with one run and three RBIs. 

The Lady Indians move to 24-4 on the year. They’re on the road Saturday for a doubleheader at Coastal Alabama-North.
