The Lady Indians spit today in the final day of the Visit Dothan Invitational.

In game one, they beat Chattanooga State 4-3 in eight innings. 

Ava Worthy was 1-for-3 with one run. Haley Sandridge was 1-for-3 with one run. Haley Eubanks was 1-for-3 with one RBI. Mikayla Lewin was 1-for-3 with one RBI. Natalie Kopikova was 1-for-3 with one run. Marissa Baxter was 1-for-2 with one run and two RBIs. 

Brianna Bailey picked up the win on the mound, going all eight innings. She had 11 strikeouts and allowed three hits. 

In game two, they fell to LSU-Eunice 5-4.

Haley Sandridge was 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Natalie Kopikova was 1-for-3 with one run. Marissa Baxter was 2-for-3 with one run and two RBIs. 

Three Lady Indians pitched in the contest. Ashlyn Donner went four innings, allowing four hits with one strikeout. Marissa Baxter went one inning, allowing four hits and two strikeouts. Sydni Garrett went one inning, allowing one hit. 

Chipola moves to 10-2 on the season. They’re back in action at ABAC on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. They're back at home vs. USC Salkehatchie on Sunday.
