Chipola pitcher, Brianna Bailey, has been named NJCAA Region 8 Softball Pitcher of the Week. 

A sophomore from Wewahitchka, Florida, Bailey went 6-0 with a 1.00 ERA in six appearances during the voting period. 

She totaled 35 innings in the circle and allowed only 15 hits and five earned runs, while striking out 47.

Included were complete-game victories over three nationally-ranked opponents: Blinn, Salt Lake, and Chattanooga State.

Bailey is in her second year at Chipola College.
