In the 2023-2024 season, Williams averaged 11.8 points per game and led Chipola to its 28th Panhandle Conference Championship, 18th NJCAA Region VIII/FCSAA State Championship, and 19th NJCAA Tournament Appearance. He shot 42.9 percent from the floor, including 29.4 percent from three-point range, and dished out 5.2 assists per game.
Williams played some of his basketball down the stretch for the Indians. In the last six games of the season which included two conference games and four postseason games, Williams scored double digits including a pair of double-doubles.
On February 24, in a game against Gulf Coast that earned Chipola a share of their fourth consecutive conference championship, he scored 18 points and delivered 12 assists.
In a 50-48 State Tournament Championship win over Northwest Florida, Williams recorded his second double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 assists.
"Greedy deserves all the recognition that he is getting because he sacrificed his own statistics many nights this season to help our team win," said Head Coach Donnie Tyndall.
Along with his All-American recognition, Williams was named to the First Team for the Panhandle Conference, NJCAA Region VIII/FCSAA (regular season), and the NJCAA Region VIII/FCSAA Tournament. He was named Panhandle Conference Player of the Year and the Most Outstanding Player at the NJCAA Region VIII/FCSAA Tournament.
"I'm excited for him that he was named an All-American and that he will be remembered as one of the best to have played at Chipola," Tyndall said.
