The #9 Chipola Indians will take to the court for the first time since last Saturday's 76-46 over Pensacola State. Chipola's game against Gulf Coast scheduled for Wednesday was postponed to Monday night due to issues with COVID in the Gulf Coast basketball program.
The Bears (4-8) from Baton Rouge Community College will travel to Marianna to take on Coach Donnie Tyndall's squad at 1 PM, Saturday afternoon.
Chipola (16-3; 2-1) is currently ranked 9th in the NJCAA and 3rd in the FCSAA.
Next Week
The Indians will have a full schedule next week as they will not only play the game that was postponed from Wednesday but also two other Panhandle Conference games. Chipola will travel to Gulf Coast on Monday for a 7:30 tip then head to Tallahassee on Wednesday for a 6:30 tip. The Indians will wrap up the week with a 7:30 game on Saturday against Northwest Florida in The Milt.
