Indians Fall in Pensacola

Chipola fell 74-73 to the Pensacola Pirates in tonight's game.

The Indians led by as much as 15 points early in the second half, but the Pirates clawed their way back to force a close game in the final few minutes.

Chipola turned the ball over 24 times.

"In a league as talented as the Panhandle, you don't win when you turn the ball over," said Coach Brendan Foley.

Marial Mading led Chipola with 21 points and seven rebounds. Lat Mayen had 18 points and six rebounds. Cheikh Faye had 14 points.

The Indians are back in action at home on Wednesday as they host Gulf Coast State at 7:30 p.m. CST.
