The Indians came up short in a hard-fought battle against #1 Northwest Florida State this evening in Niceville. The final score was 85-79.

There were 18 lead changes and nine ties in the contest. Chipola held a 43-42 lead at half. 

Brandon Mahan led Chipola in scoring with 21 points. Shamarkus Kennedy added in 16 points and TJ Howard had 14. Yuat Alok led the team in rebounds with seven. 

The Indians fall to 16-5 overall and to 4-2 in conference play. They'll be back in action on Saturday as they host Pensacola State at 7:30 PM CST. Tickets are available at the door and cost $5/adult, $2/12 and under. Appreciation Club members receive free entry.
