Indians Stifled by Jones

The Indians jumped out of the gate strong with a 13-4 lead, but saw Jones County rally to take a 43-38 lead at half.

Chipola took the lead with 11:29 in the game, but could not secure it. A number of costly errors totaling 23 turnovers and 20 missed free throws proved costly for the Indians. Jones defeated the Indians 82-77.

"This was a disappointing evening in a lot of ways. I felt like we beat ourselves not only by missed free throws and turnovers, but empty possessions at critical times in the game," said head coach Bret Campbell.

Only two players scored in double figures. Yuak Alok had 12 points and Deric Patton had 11 points.

The Indians play again Tuesday, November 8th at home vs. Faith Baptist.
