Indian's Balance Too Much for Roane State

Chipola traveled to Americus, Georgia today to participate in the South Georgia Tech Classic where they beat Roane State 82-70.

Chipola's depth continues to be a factor for opposing teams and was no different in today's contest with four Indians scoring in double figures. Jamall Gregory led the Indians with a season-high 17 points. Jahshire Hardnett added 16 points and Shamarkus Kennedy and Yuat Alok had 11 points and 10 points respectively.

"This team continues to show their overall balance in scoring. Jamal Gregory led the team with 17 points, giving the Indians their 8th different leading scorer in as many games," said coach Bret Campbell. "We came out of the gate very well and were able to get a comfortable lead at half 49-31. Our team still needs to work on closing out games even though we finished with a 82-70 final score."

The Indians are back in action in Americus tomorrow at 2:00 PM ET as they take on East Georgia State.
