The No. 5 Chipola Indians capped off a successful stay at home in the Panhandle Classic on Saturday with a 99-75 victory over Brunswick (N.C.), their second of the weekend after knocking off No. 20 Santa Fe 81-75 on Friday.

Chipola overcame a slow start Saturday night, falling behind 35-29 at halftime before exploding for 70 points in the second half and outscoring Brunswick by 30.

The Indians did it with another balanced offensive effort, placing seven players in double digit scoring led by Torian Graham's 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the three-point line.

Chipola made 14-of-30 from behind the arc for the game, which helped offset poor shooting on two-point shots (22-of-56) and from the free throw line (13-of-29).

Demetrious Floyd also had 16 points for Chipola, with Sam Cassell, Jr. adding 15 points and 10 assists, Alpha Ndaw 11 points, and Ty Baker 10 points.

Cinmeon Bowers and Carlos Morris each had double-doubles, with Bowers going for 12 points and 15 rebounds, and Morris 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The win improved the Indians to 10-1 on the season and they will be back at it this weekend when they travel to Gainesville to compete in the Florida Shootout.

Chipola will take on FCSAA No. 6 Eastern Florida State on Friday at 6 p.m. in a rematch of last year's state tournament game in which the Titans – then known as Brevard – eliminated the Indians with an 82-72 victory in the semifinal round.

On Saturday, the Indians will take on St. Petersburg at 4 p.m.
