Indians Win Two Over Pearl River

The Indians traveled to Pensacola to face Pearl River in a doubleheader today, where they won both.

Game One:

Chipola College Indians Varsity ran off with the lead late in the game in a 5-3 victory over Pearl River on Monday. The game was tied at three with Chipola College Indians Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Corey Rosier singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Chipola College Indians Varsity fired up the offense in the second inning, when Rosier drew a walk, scoring one run.

Daniel Cerda earned the win for Chipola College Indians Varsity. He surrendered one run on two hits over two innings, striking out two.

Trace McNabb toed the rubber for Pearl River. He lasted four innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out two. Evan BynumReid Golemon, and Kole Alford each contributed in relief for Pearl River.

Andrew Moore started the game for Chipola College Indians Varsity. He allowed five hits and two runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking one
