Indians Defeat Enterprise State

Chipola College Indians Varsity took the lead late in the game in a 9-4 victory over Enterprise State on Saturday. The game was tied at four with Chipola College Indians Varsity batting in the top of the seventh when Jozsef Rohrbacher was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Enterprise State scored three runs in the fourth inning, but Chipola College Indians Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Enterprise State came thanks to a single by Gomez, a sacrifice fly by Hanson, and an error on a ball put in play by Corksey.

Chipola College Indians Varsity took an early lead in the second inning when Isaiah Byars grounded out, scoring one run.

After Chipola College Indians Varsity scored one run in the top of the first, Enterprise State answered with one of their own. Enterprise State then answered when an error scored one run for Enterprise State.

Bo Bonds was the winning pitcher for Chipola College Indians Varsity. He allowed one hit and zero runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Register took the loss for Enterprise State. He went four and a third innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out four.

Robert Bennett started the game for Chipola College Indians Varsity. He surrendered four runs on seven hits over three and a third innings, striking out one and walking zero

Corey Rosier went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Chipola College Indians Varsity in hits.

Enterprise State collected eight hits on the day. Thrasher and Gomez each had multiple hits for Enterprise State. Enterprise State didn't commit a single error in the field. Hanson had the most chances in the field with six.

The Indians will take on St. Pete at home today at 2:30 p.m. CST.
