The Chipola Indians (13-3) grabbed an early lead on its way to a 7-1 victory over Shelton State on Friday. Chipola scored early on a passed ball, followed by Guzman's 2 run homer. A single by Andrew Bechtold in the second inning scored a run, as well as a walk by Reynaldo Rivera.

Parker Warren (3-1) earned the win. He threw six innings, giving up one run, three hits, and striking out three.

Guzman led Chipola Indians with two hits (2 home runs) in three at-bats with 3 RBIs.
