The Chipola Indians scored first, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 4-1 ballgame against State College of Florida on Saturday at State College of Florida.

State College of Florida took the lead in the fourth inning on a single by Andrew DiLacqua.

State College of Florida couldn't get anything going so long as Landon Faulkner was on the hill. State College of Florida managed just two hits off of Faulkner, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Gabe Moore got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed one run over five innings. Moore struck out none, walked two and gave up three hits.

Faulkner was the game's losing pitcher.

The Chipola Indians' lone run of the ballgame came in the first inning on a sacrifice fly by Michael Hickman.

The lead stayed with State College of Florida after the fourth, when it scored two runs on a fielder's choice and a single by DiLacqua.
