Reed Dominate in Route over Wallace-Dothan

Addison Reed was dominate Friday afternoon, as Reed (3-0) struck out 13 batters while only surrendering one hit to carry the Chipola Indians (15-4) to an 11-1 victory over Wallace-Dothan at Chipola College.

After a pitcher's duel for the first four innings, the Indian bats came to life in the fifth and sixth innings.

Hickman led-off the fifth inning with a HBP when Myles Edwards laced a single into right field pushing Hickman to third. Hickman proceeded to score on the play on an error by the right fielder. Keiner Colmenarez followed with a single to left, scoring Edwards to put the Indians ahead for good. Still with no outs, Jose Caballero homered to left field to extend the lead to 4-1. 

The sixth inning saw six Chipola runners cross the plate. The Indians scored on an RBI single by Myles Edwards, an error, a walk by Jose Caballero, a two-run single by Te'Kwaan Whyte, and an RBI single by Michael Rojas.

Caballero racked up three RBIs on two hits.

Michael Rojas, Maurice Cooley, and Myles Edwards also had two hits. 

Robbie Knox worked a scoreless eighth.
