Chipola Splits DH With Columbia State

Chipola (13-4) spilt with Columbia on Sunday afternoon after losing the second game of the double-header 18-4.

Columbia State hitters combined for 12 hits, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored.

Jackson Bellenkes ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

The Chipola Indians answered Columbia State's top inning with two runs of their own in the first. The Chipola Indians scored on a two-run single by Tyler Osik.

The Indians are back in action on Wednesday, February 24 at 1pm on the road against Chattahoochee Valley
