Pensacola falls 10-0 at the hands of Chipola

Chipola beat Pensacola on Monday 10-0 at Marianna, FL in five innings. 

Chipola scored four runs in the fourth on Chipola scored in the fourth on a two-run single by Lazaro Rivera, an RBI double by Kevin Santa, and an error. 

Chipola was led by a flawless day at the dish by Jay Estes, who went 3-3 against Pensacola's pitching. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings. 

Pensacola couldn't get anything going as long as Adonis Hernandez was pitching. Pensacola managed just one hit off of Hernandez, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out five during his five innings of work. 

Julio DePena ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed eight runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two. 

The lead stayed with Chipola after the first, when it scored one run on a sacrifice fly by Santa. 

Chipola piled on three more runs in the bottom of the third. Estes' single got things going, plating Jacky Miles, Jr.. That was followed up by Isiah Gilliam's double, plating Estes and Santa.
