Chipola held tough until late against Gulf Coast on Monday, but Gulf Coast scored five runs late for a 9-1 victory at Panama City, FL. 

Gunnar McNeill put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Chipola. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings. 

Matt Foster got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed one run over eight innings. He struck out nine, walked one and surrendered six hits. 

Adonis Hernandez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed four runs. 

Gulf Coast went up for good in the second, scoring four runs on two doubles. 

Chipola managed to score one run in the fourth inning on an RBI double by McNeill.
